Polish contemporary artist Robert Kusmirowski will be spending the next few months transforming an abandoned house in Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood into a massively scaled piece of installation art. The piece pertaining to the very house itself: every room, every closet, every square foot. Maintaining many of the common themes interwoven throughout the whole of Kusmirowski’s work, the house’s image will become a unique vision of the past.

The question is: which past?

As photographers based in Pittsburgh, we will be documenting this ongoing transformation — from the near-beginning to the final product — and publishing images on a regular basis.
